In terms of sheer scale alone, Yuantouzhu in Wuxi is far smaller than Pingba Farm in Anshun. The latter spans about 24,000 mu and is home to more than 700,000 cherry trees. When the Somei Yoshino cherry trees reach full bloom, the entire valley cascades in pink like a waterfall, giving rise to the name “Blossoms Flowing Like a Waterfall.”
Changchun Bridge
Changchun Bridge is a classic cherry blossom viewing spot at Yuantouzhu. Here, the earliest cherry blossom varieties imported from Japan are planted. When the blossoms are in full bloom, the arch bridge is framed like a rainbow, and the flowering branches are reflected on the lake’s surface, together creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
